Our Employability Skills programme aims to get your students job ready.
This workshop is packed full of exciting activities and offers students a realistic experience of working life. The interactive content is original, current and totally relevant to today’s students. The combination of our inspirational message and dynamic delivery style gets every student involved.
This programme can be run at any time of the year but is ideal for pre/post-work experience students.
Your school will receive a comprehensive evaluation of the learning experience, based on student and staff feedback. All activities are mapped to the PLTS, WRL and CBI employability skills frameworks.
Our Employability Skills programme can form part of your stable careers programme – particularly in terms of delivering knowledge about the workplace and practising the top employability skills.
We help your students to make the connection between what they’re doing now, what they plan to do in the near future and Labour Market Information.
Our Employability Skills programme helps students to understand different career pathways. This workshop can be delivered with a STEM focus.
Our presenting team have vast experience as employers and employees. Your students will have the opportunity to practise interview skills within the context of our dynamic, real-world activities. Our presenters facilitate these ‘interview style’ interactions and provide your students with valuable feedback.
Although we do not offer placements, we can prepare your students for work experience. Our activities take students through the entire recruitment process from CVs and job applications to interview skills. Our focus is to make students understand how to sell themselves on paper and in person.
Upon request, we can facilitate mock interviews with your students. Depending on the cohort size, this will sometimes require a number of days. We assess job readiness and give constructive feedback to each student on their application form/CV and their interpersonal skills.
