OVERVIEW & AIMS

Do you ever wonder if there might be a fun-packed programme for your younger students, to help them on their learning journey through school? Maybe you are looking for something different to include in next summer’s Year 6 induction? Or perhaps you are thinking of something that could act as a reward for your new students towards the end of their first year or, alternatively, as a focus during Year 8.

Maybe none of these apply, and you’re just idly trawling through a few websites on the look-out for something different! Look no further.

Reliability, responsibility and respect are the focus of this programme – all key elements for a successful education at school. You know that the transition from primary to secondary school can be a daunting prospect. You can use this programme to manage this important change in their young lives, to dismantle the unnecessary barriers – and have some fun in the process.

IN THIS PROGRAMME, YOUR STUDENTS WILL:

  • Be up on their feet, meeting and greeting other people
  • Work together and generally have fun in a high impact and visual way
  • Have an experience of mostly kinaesthetic and activity-based learning
  • Experience team working and problem-solving tasks
  • Develop a drive to succeed and a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Be encouraged to move out of their comfort zones
  • Remain on task and fully engaged by short and punchy activities
  • Imitate the world of work by operating in non-friendship teams
  • Enjoy fun, dynamic and stimulating challenges that develop PLT skills

ADDITIONALLY, YOUR STUDENTS WILL:

  • Experience an inspirational, dynamic and highly memorable presentation
  • Benefit from the wealth of our experience gained from years of delivery
  • Be enthused by strong audiovisual introductions to activity-based modules
  • Have a really positive experience
  • Be asked to evaluate the learning experience

Your school will receive a comprehensive evaluation of the learning experience, based on student and staff feedback. All activities will be mapped to PLTS, the 9-point WRL skills framework and the CBI’s 7 employability skills.
