A customisable programme that enables students to practice entrepreneurial skills and learn how to run a business.

Key Aims

  • To experience the thrill of risk-taking, profit making, and the buzz of business.
  • To be introduced to a diverse range of entrepreneurs.
  • To identify and practise the key skills used by successful entrepreneurs.
  • To practise selling themselves and their businesses.
  • To build confidence, resilience, and interdependency through enterprise activities.
  • To learn how to promote a business using social media.
  • To embrace the entrepreneurial mindset that achievement is directly related to innovation, effort, risk-taking, learning from mistakes, and resilience.
  • To manage risk in a live trading activity.
  • To practise communication and negotiation skills within a business context.
  • To discover that enterprise is an attitude.
  • To define the following terms: enterprise (social and commercial), entrepreneur, profit, and triple bottom line.
  • To learn the importance planning a business.
  • To experience an upbeat event packed with contemporary role models and concepts.
  • To take part in a fun educational workshop that will inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs.
